*Location : Horsham, PA* *Visa : Any* *Interview : face2face* *Duration: 12 Months* We are looking for a QA Engineer to help create manual and automated test scripts for our new MDM solution. The candidate should have strong verbal and written communication skills and be prepared to make an immediate impact within our QA team. Responsibilities: In this role, the candidate will lead the Quality Assurance efforts for Master Data Management (MDM). Tasks include but are not limited to: • Defining methodology and standard testing procedures and tools for MDM • Hands on testing and/or leading other testers when needed • Working with developers and Business Analysts to define, create and manage Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Data, Test Coverage Matrices, Test Schedules, Testing Issues Logs, Defects Reports, Test Execution Logs, etc. • Creating and executing test cases using both manual processes and automated test tools • Facilitating Test script reviews and approval processes • Working with the project teams to provide clarification on requirements and identified defects • Automating tests using shell scripts • Recording defects, providing sufficient detail to allow developers to understand and correct • Tools development to support QA activities and improve overall QA processes • Conducting various types of testing, such as Data migration, ETL, data correctness/completeness, Services, UI. • Perform duties and responsibilities specific to department functions and activities. • Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or assigned by supervisor • Be flexible and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and take initiative to learn quickly. Required Experience & Skills: • Must have strong written and verbal communication • 10+ years of IT experience with 6+ years in QA • Experienced in leading large testing efforts and testing teams • 5+ years of experience in testing and experience in testing MDM implementations • 5+ Years of experience in Informatica PowerCenter • Expert in PL/SQL and stored procedures / scripts • Expert-level SQL coding/querying skills in SQL Server and/or Oracle databases • 3+ Years Unix/Linux scripting • 3+ experience in data services testing. SOA testing (manual / automated) • Experience in working with Business Process Mapping, Functional Requirement Specification (FRS) and Data Modeling deliverables • Experience of independently using the Business and Functional Requirements documents to write test plans, test scenarios and test scripts • Experience designing the Test Strategy and Test Plan, coordinating with Business and Dev teams • Strong skills and experience using Informatica PowerCenter, Master Data Management and Metadata Strategy including implementation, architecture and developing Standards and Methodology required. • Ability to explain complex data challenges to business users and work in cross-functional team environment. • Solid understanding and knowledge of Master Data Management with emphasis on Customer Data management, and Data Governance • Good technical understanding of IBM MDM Server v11.x architecture and functional capabilities • Experience executing test cases that include running MDM Hub batch jobs to populate data from different source systems, writing SQL in Oracle 10g to ensure data quality and integrity is maintained throughout the data load process, examination of cleansing and trust & validation rules etc. • Experience testing out MDM UI workflows with multi-level approvals and edge scenarios *Note:- We are working with Tier-1 Vendor...* *Regards,* *Vikram Goswami,* *Executive-Talent Acquisition* *Error!
