Understands the methodologies and technologies that depict the flow of data within and between technology systems and business functions/operations. Responsible for the identification and resolution of information flow, content issues and the transformation of business requirements into logical data models. This position identifies opportunities to reduce data redundancy, trends in data uses and single sources of data. * · Writing Scala code to be run in Spark framework to process HSD, Wifi usage data · Writing Scala code to process Medallia, Loyalty data · Develop code to implement datascience models · Help in operationalization of spark jobs. *Requirements:* · *10+ years experience* in Java software development required · 3+ years’ experience developing applications on Hadoop · Experience in scala: MUST have experience writing high quality scala code · Must have hands-on experience in Spark · Experience in messaging and collection frameworks like Kafka or Storm. · 2+ years of distributed database experience (HBase or Cassandra). · Experience with high volume systems.
