*Job Description:*
We’re looking for an experienced UI Development consultant with a broad
understanding of UI Integration, industry best practices, performance and
design considerations, and overall application implementation knowledge
within the e-commerce field. Will operate independently and as part of a
team to provide quality input and deliverables for client engagements.
*Specific duties may include:*
• Bridge the gap between UI Developers and ATG/Endeca Java Developers
during E-commerce web site development.
• Leverage UI and JSP experience to develop JSP pages within the ATG/Endeca
framework.
• Develop server-side JSP and conditional logic and be responsible for
integrating backend data-calls using JSTL and ATG Droplet/Endeca cartridge
code, and interfacing with form-handlers.
• Utilize JavaScript (Ajax, JSON, REST) and develop in semantic HTML. Other
development will include CSS for UI features.
*Req**ui**rements:*
• 11+ years relevant experience
• Server-side JSP development and server-side logic
• JSTL (c tags, dsp tags) • JavaScript, developing from scratch and abiding
by JavaScript best-practices, developing optimal and reusable JavaScript
(AMP, RequireJS)
• Ajax, JSON, REST, Web Services
• MVVM architectures and UI Abstraction and familiarity with supporting
libraries and frameworks (Backbone, AngularJS, KnockoutJS, etc.)
• Cross-browser web development (IE9, 10, 11, Chrome, Firefox, Safari,
iPad, iPhone, Android)
• Iterative (Agile) development environment Education: Bachelor’s degree or
equivalent experience
