The back-end developer should also be the most senior, and should have worked as a senior software engineer in the past. The back-end developer will help design and develop the APIs that serve the front-end. In addition, the back-end developer should also have knowledge of data engineering, and will be working with the Data Extraction and Data Science teams to create models that could be custom-fitted to Customer. They are looking for developers with Scala expertise, preferably having worked with the Akka framework. In the absence of Akka framework experience, this person should be experienced with a Java messaging framework.
