The Senior Developer (Service Management) is a versatile and highly
motivated individual who works directly with Global Admin Tool lead role to
support Process Owners and all IT teams on the functional requirements
definition, design, implementation and maintenance of our Service
Management tool (ServiceNow) that includes incident, service catalog,
problem, change, release and configuration management process disciplines.
This position will work with ITIL Process Owners, the Service Desk and
Business Users in defining, developing and executing application and
process enhancements and must have strong technical proficiency.

*Detailed Responsibilities/Duties: *


• Administrator for Service Management tool to ensure we have a quality
application that meets the needs of IT Services and the Company as well as
being industry standard.
• Service catalog to Service Portal migration.
• Create reports and analyze data to ensure accurate reports for both IT
and our business partners.
• Assist Admin Tool members to support Process Owners on the optimal design
and implementation of new or modified existing processes.
• Responsible for developing and managing application code, user interface,
and third-party integration components in all stages of the Service
Management Toolset
• Support the existing Service Management tool, Service Now, in the way of
user request, log monitoring, on-call support, and implementation of both
minor and major enhancements.
• Learn about the existing process design and implementation of Service
Catalog, Incident, Problem Change and Release Management workflows.
• Understand the data model and basic database structure tables within the
tool to develop and distribute reports for management and process owners.
• Follow development standards and perform all development work across the
processes within the tool including workflows, Business rules, Form
development utilizing Powershell, HTML, and Javascript.
• Prepare technical documentation in line with Tool enhancements and
extensions made above “out-of-the box” Tool functionality.
• Understand integration of infrastructure applications with other core
systems, such as Oracle HR, Altiris, Active Directory, via web services or
other tool specific API’s.
• Understand the organizational chart, how the teams are structured, and
what teams support which applications and technologies.
• Perform other duties as required by Global team or Management
• Develop and document best practice approaches and reusable assets

• Proficient on ServiceNow tool.
• Experience in UI design using JavaScript, HTML. Good knowledge of web
design.
• Experience with Service Portal.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, commitments and projects in a
fast-paces dynamic environment.
• Passion for ITIL and the delivery of effective and efficient processes
across the IT enterprise
• Familiar with the scope and objectives of Service Catalog, Incident,
Problem, Change, and Configuration management
• Solid Development / Administrator background.
• Maintains and support Service Management Toolset operational functions
and Vendor escalations
• Demonstrated experience working with business partners to interpret
requirements and deliver software solutions based to Process owners,
Business units, and IT Operations support teams.
• Ability to take up challenges, adapt to the business needs, and stay
focused on delivering results is essential to the success of this role
• Documentation of solution architecture and supporting business processes
• Strong team player with ability to help ensure proper Tool Support
iniatives
• Excellent written and verbal communication to document processes and Tool
solutions
• Excellent presentation skills and excellent documentation skills

*Experience: *


• 5 years of experience in I.T.
• 2 years of experience as a System Administrator of a service management
application, preferably Service-Now
• 1 - 2 years of experience client scripting (JavaScript, HTML)
• Knowledge of LDAP/Active Directory, and relevant I.T. architecture
experience

*Preferred Qualifications: *


• 4 - 6 years of experience in I.T. Service Delivery (Global preferred)
• Experience with Business Rules, integration packages, and Form design.
• Experience in UI design using JavaScript, HTML, CSS. HTML5/CSS3
experience a plus.
• Implementations of Service Now Workflow Design
• Previous experience with ServiceNow Runbook Automation a plus
• ITIL V3 Foundation Certification
