Description:

Principal Duties and Responsibilities


   - Use Microsoft technologies: C#, ASP.NET, SQL, and Microsoft workflow
   to develop web applications
   - Design and develop intuitive, usable, and engaging interactions and
   visual designs for iOS and Windows platform
   - Independently perform expert level analysis and design by translating
   business requirements into technical specification. Code, test, and
   document according to the approved technical design.
   - Integrate with our back-end services to make sure we are delivering
   great mobile user experience.
   - Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect mobile applications to
   back-end services.
   - Excellent understanding of user experience design for mobile and the
   web, technology trends, demonstrable design skills, and ability to show
   relevant work.
   - Provide technical expertise across multiple areas of application
   development
   - Implement all aspects of an application design – high performance
   design, coding, caching mechanisms, security, encryption, state management,
   error logging, debugging, scalability, code reviews, development
   environment configuration, and testing
   - Collaborate with users to gather requirements and coordinating with
   internal teams to ensure that solutions are developed to meet the needs and
   requirements of the users.
   - Perform unit and system level testing
   - Develop and maintain all documentation related to applications
   supported.
   - As a senior member of the team, will also mentor and help train other
   members of the team.
   - Evaluate emerging technologies to identify opportunities, trends and
   best practices that can be leveraged to strengthen technology platform and
   development practices.
   - A good understanding of tiered architecture
   - Proven track record of designing scalable, software applications
   - Participate in rotation of 24x7 on-call support
   - Maintain regular and consistent communications with the Supervisor –
   Distributed Solutions Minimum Requirements for this position
   - Ability to respond effectively in a fast-paced environment with
   rapidly changing and competing priorities
   - Strong customer-oriented focus in providing technology services and
   support
   - Effective communication, team working and organizational skills. Good
   interpersonal skills.
   - Demonstrate a self-starting attitude and ability to proactively
   address and troubleshoot system issues with limited direction
   - Maintain flexible attitude and approach towards assignments and
   successfully operate under ambiguous guidelines
   - Exercise sound judgments and make decisions in a manner consistent
   with the essential job functions
   - Work effectively alone or as part of a team on projects
   - Respect and maintain confidentiality of organization, project, fiscal,
   and personnel related information
   - Committed to a high standard of safety and willing and able to comply
   with all safety laws and all of the employer’s safety policies and rules.
   Must be willing to report safety violations and potential safety violations
   to appropriate supervisory or management personnel.
   - Maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is
   determined in the employer’s sole discretion
   - Perform duties onsite, except those job duties which are customarily
   or by their nature performed offsite (such as meetings with customers
   offsite at their request, traveling to field offices or participating in or
   conducting training)
   - Ability to meet the physical requirements necessary to perform
   required duties in a safe and effective manner for self and others
   - Be available and willing to travel internationally as the employer
   determines is necessary or desirable to meet business needs
