Hi, Job Title: Oracle Dba with Golden Gate Location: Brooklyn, NY Duration: 12+ Months/Contract *Interview: Phone and Skype* *Need USC/GC/EAD-GC Only* *• Must have minimum of 12+ years of experience as Oracle DBA with GoldenGate* • Experience of setup & configuration, implementation of (Oracle 11gR2 /12c RAC Solaris/ Linux with ASM). • Experience with Oracle Golden Gate is must. • Proficient in Oracle Database Administration activities such as Upgrades, Patches. • Cloning, Performance Tuning, capacity planning, script development and Documentation. • Experience in Database Backups and Recovery Strategies Using RMAN and Expert experience in Hot and Cold Backup of databases. Good knowledge in creating RMAN Duplicate Databases and FLASHBACK recovery features. • Must have experience Design, Develop,Document, install, implement, and maintain all Golden gate, recovery including disaster recovery. • Experience using RMAN, VERITAS Net Backup. Worked with EXP/IMP,EXPDP/IMPDP to refresh the schemas and to restore the Dev, Test databases. • Strong Exposure on High Availability Concepts (RAC, Standby), Database Cloning, Active Data Guard, Golden gate replication.. • Experience in applying Critical Patch Update (CPU Patches) on Databases. • Experience in Oracle Clustering services (CRS), VERITAS Cluster Services (Quick I/O file systems) and High Availability features 11g /12 c • Programming experience in creating Packages, Stored Procedures and Functions, Database Triggers. • Proactive monitoring, identifying areas that need to be improved in the application and database using STATSPACK, EXPLAIN PLAN, SQL TRACE, ORADEBUG, AWR, ADDM, • Automation script knowledge using shell scripts /AWK . • Expert of Oracle GoldenGate’s real-time, heterogeneous database synchronization capabilities to Develop , implement and Maintain • Expertise on replicate both DML and DDL operations using GG. • Experience to filter, and transform data between similar or dissimilar supported Oracle Database versions, or move, filter, and transform data between an Oracle Database • Strong working knowledge of to improve the High availability, performance, and accessibility of the transactional data that drives mission-critical business processes using GG. • Experience and willing to work 24x7 on call rotation. • Good communication skills written and writing to Work with DEV Apps teams, also to mentor the team.
