Currently we are looking for *Design/Automation/Autocad/Proposal Engineer* for one of our client , kindly advice on your availability: *Position Title: Design/Automation/Autocad/Proposal Engineer* *Duration: 6 Months* *Location: Auburn Hills, MI,48321* *Must* *3) *AutoCad, Catia or Inventor or any 3D viewer knowledge *4) *At least 3 years’ experience on BIW(Body In White) *Job Description: * *Responsibilities and Qualifications:* - Candidate must be experienced in Body in White processes. - Needs to be experienced with tooling, safety, and robotic standards. - Candidate should be familiar with GD&T and Automotive Design Standards. - Candidate must be experienced with AutoCAD, 3D software (preferably SolidWorks), Microsoft Office Suite, be a team player and a dedicated hard worker. AutoCAD, 3D software (preferably SolidWorks) - Candidate will be taking an RFQ from a customer and creating the process in order for the customer to bid on goods and services from ABB. *Day-To-Day Responsibilities:* -Must have experience with Body-in-White Processes. (front end support of steel sheet metal body of a car) - This candidate will be client facing, taking RFQ’s (bids/requests for car parts) from the client through an online too and designing the parts the client needs using AutoCAD and must have experience with 3D software design. - This candidate will be designing parts, using CAD to show the client where the parts will go on each car body. (i.e. screws, paneling, any part that connects/welds onto the body) This engineer will breakdown the process and how each step of assembly goes together. - This candidate will calculate over all CAD Drawings, how many parts are needed/what parts are needed, design where the parts go on the body, and finalizes how many stations are needed on the assembly in order to create the products needed for client. - Needs minimum 5+ years of experience.
