Hi all: Creative Commons has been running a video competition to solicit high quality videos that explain what Open Educational Resources are and why they are important for teachers, students, and schools everywhere. The competition submission period closed 5 June.
At this time our judging panel is reviewing the videos to award the 1st and 2nd prizes, and the public can now view and vote for their favorite video at http://whyopenedmatters.org/videos/. The public will choose the 3rd place prize. Please vote for your favorite one and help us spread the word. The public voting process will commence until 11 July, and the winners will be announced 18 July. The winner of the Public Choice Award will win $1,000. Click on a video to view it, read the voting instructions, and vote. Public Choice Award voting will end July 11, 2012.
