Hi, I'm a 3rd year undergraduate from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering in University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka. I have good programming experience in Java and Python. Very recently I created an extension for importing/exporting Google documents to LibreOffice using python. You'll be able to checkout the source code from https://github.com/ishanthilina/Gnome-Online-Documents-Manager . So I think I have more than enough experience to get on with this project.
I can either develop the existing extension in Java (which would be easier) or I can port the extension from Java to Python (Since I already have experience ). I would really love to continue with this project and would like to have some guidance on that. In the due time I'll put a proposal in google-melange too. Till then I thought that it's my responsibility keep the mentors of the project informed about me.
