The solution should be "alias exec" and I had thought it had been corrected
before, but apparantly this is something we need to verify again!

Subject: [OSL | CCIE_RS] alias question

I have a question about the alias command. I was doing a lab that required
you to create two shortcuts:

sir  =  show ip route

sib = show ip interface brief

The answer according the book was:

alias configure sir show ip route

alias configure sib show ip interface brief

I'm thinking this is incorrect. The only way I could do this was to do:

alias exec sir show ip route

alias exec sir show ip interface brief

If someone could confirm this I would be greatful. Also does anyone know if
the is an errata doc for ipexpert books?

Andy
