Hi Daniel,
I just quiet get the picture. Could you give us a sh ip route and sh run
from R1 and R2 perhaps? The OSPF database should be the same on both
routers, soo of you redistribute from EIGRP to OSPF on both I guess you
would have double entries in your database. If the ospf database is way
off, try doing a write mem; reload.

Hi guys,
Please let's take a simple OSPF area with just two p2p routers (R1 and
R2). They participate in this area with their S0/0 interfaces and they
are connected to an EIGRP domain as my ASBRs. On one of these ASBR
routers (R1) I issue "sh ip ospf data" and get the following results :
*R1#sh ip ospf data *
* OSPF Router with ID (16.0.0.1) (Process ID 2)*
* Router Link States (Area 0)*
*Link ID ADV Router Age Seq# Checksum Link
count
14.0.0.1 14.0.0.1 1135 0x80000006 0x0085C5 2
16.0.0.1 16.0.0.1 1130 0x80000008 0x00D61F 2*
* Type-5 AS External Link States*
*Link ID ADV Router Age Seq# Checksum Tag
10.0.0.0 14.0.0.1 287 0x80000001 0x004057 1387
11.0.0.0 14.0.0.1 616 0x80000004 0x002D66 1387
12.0.0.0 14.0.0.1 287 0x80000001 0x00266F 1387
13.0.0.0 14.0.0.1 616 0x80000004 0x00137E 1387
14.0.0.0 14.0.0.1 616 0x80000004 0x00068A 1387
16.0.0.0 16.0.0.1 96 0x80000003 0x00CFDA 1358*

16.0.0.1 is the loopback address of R1 and 14.0.0.1 is the loopback
address of R2. I am just wondering how "ADV router" is picked by
OSPF and why R1's ID is not shown there for ADV router of 10.0.0.1.
Thank you.
