When going through labs, do not try to compare them to real world best
practices.

Certain things are done in the labs to try to create a problem that you are
forced to correct in some other way by testing your skills.

Subject: [OSL | CCIE_RS] Question on LAB20...

Hi all,

I have some question on LAB20 where I got stuck comparing the final configs.

- Why is OSPF to BGP, BGP to OSPF redistributed on R5 and R6? To me it
would be enough only on one router to get all routes, isn't it?

- Why in BGP eBGP multihop is configured? The configs have configured
the Interface address as neighbor and we are not sourcing from Loopback, so
that's not needed, isn't it?

- On R6 the Final configs show only the keyword no-prepend in BGP but
to me in order to not advertise the AS600 which is requested by the task, we
would have to configure ...no-prepend replace-as. Isn't it?

Would be very great if someone could give me the answer to these points.

Thank you all

Roger
