I’ll try to give you an answer, I hope it explains your question...

Well, normally the Class Selector Per Hop behaviour in DiffServ is used for
backward compability with Precedence. The Binary Values show the first three
bits of the TOS Byte, used for Precedence. The table looks as below:

 

DSCP CS Value            Binary Value     Equivalent PrecValue (Decimal)

Default                         000000             0

CS1                             001000             1

CS2                             010000             2

CS3                             011000             3

CS4                             100000             4

CS5                             101000             5

CS6                             110000             6

CS7                             111000             7

 

The other Diffserv values of the assured PHB, for example AF22, AF33 are not
backward compatible to Precedence.

Greetings all,

is there any formula that we can use to calculate what each IP precedence
value equal in DSCP ( i.e IP precedence 5 = DSCP 40 and IP  precedence 4=
32)?
