Hello all, This task requires that R4 should inform 135.10.40.100 if it detects states other than invalid, active or inactive.
That means it should not send alters when PVC's go down or become inactive or deleted. The soultion to this problem in P.G guide enables the SNMP alerts for frame-relay which will infact send all alerts for any kind of frame-relay events. I think the solution should be as follows. I found this in kevin dooley's cisco router config book =================================================================== int s0/0/0 no logging event dlci-status-change logging host 135.10.40.100 logging trape dubug =================================================================== However., I could not get this config to work on 2800 routers as command was not accepted by the router. I would like to know if there is any other way to accomplish this task. Suresh
