Hey Jason!

Thanks for the kind words, glad to hear you enjoy the blog!

The desk area at RTP was a pretty normal sized desk like you might have in a
small cubicle in an office. The monitor was either 15 or 17" CRT and the
resolution I have no idea. It was not an issue for me, as I used the AS and
ctrl shift 6 x in all my practice and did it the same way in the lab...just one
window.

One thing I did have to adapt to quickly was the fact that right click did not
paste in SecureCRT and I could find no option to make it do that. I was used
to that as I always used PuTTY in my practice. I had to adapt quickly to using
ctrl-v. It freaked me out at first but everything worked out.

Joe,

First, congratulations on getting your CCIE. I've been a fan of your
blog ever since starting my own journey back in March and found your
experiences match a lot of my own. Onto the questions:

1) How big is the desk area?
2) How big is the monitor and what is the resolution?

I know these may seem dumb, but during my initial study phase, I've
basically taken up my entire dining room table (seats 8) and use a 22"
widescreen monitor with a really high resolution. I'd hate to get
there only to find out that we have to use an old 14" CRT on an
elementary school desk (I know this is not the case, but I hope you
get the visualization).

Thanks,

Jason
