Hi,

All the routers you listed in v10.0 of the workbooks are all 2811s and support
mpls. For v11.0 of the workbook, same goes with the minor change of R2 being a
3825, which also supports mpls. take a look at this link, I use it to find out
if a specific cisco device/IOS supports whatever feature I am looking for.

hope this helps,

Max,

Do all the routers in the IP Expert
racks support MPLS?

R1, R2, R4, R5, R6,R7,R8,R9 ?

If so, then I will need to upgrade mine
to match.

Cheers!

Robert,

Having four mpls capable routers is good. below is a list of routers that
support mpls.

The Cisco Series 2691, 3640, 3660, 3725, 3745, 6400-NRP-1, 6400-NRP-2SV,
6400-NSP, Catalyst 5000 with Route Switch Module (RSM), 7200, 7301, 7400,
7500, Catalyst 6500/Cisco 7600 Series with WS-SUP720-3B and WS-SUP720-3BXL,
Gigabit Switch Router (GSR), Route Processor Module (RPM), Universal Broadband
Router (UBR) 7200, AS5350, and IGX8400-URM all support MPLS.

Subject: [OSL | CCIE_RS] Lab Routers Needing To Run MPLS

IP Experts Team,

I have a home lab made up mostly of 1841 routers. I don't think they
run MPLS ( I didn't see the command options in the config).

I have access to three 2800 series routers which do run MPLS.

Is three 2800 routers running MPLS enough to work on the labs? Or
will I need more.

Which three 1841 routers should I replace with the 2800 routers?

Thanks.

Cheers!
