Guys - I'm not sure where those stats came from - even Learning @ Cisco and the CCIE team didn't have any idea of the passrate back when we were a learning partner and were discussing the 360 program. I do have to say that those numbers seem to make sense though....

My Cisco Account Manager told me the statistics are 17% pass rate on first attempt, goes to 34% on second attempt and that takes an average of 3 attempts to get CCIE.

Subject: [OSL | CCIE_RS] Lab exam - should I expect to fail first attempt?

Folks, on average, how many times people are trying the CCIE R&S lab before passing?

Also, do you feel that if you could attend the IPexpert bootcamp twice before attempting the lab that could be a good way to improve chances of passing first time?
