Dear Anthony,
I have tried it on GNS lab. The result is :-
the router sends two updates on the interface with secondary IP Address one is
sourced from the primary IP Address and the second is from the Secondary IP
Address. The router on the other end rejects the updates sourced from the
primary IP Address ("RIP: ignored v2 update from bad source") but it accepts
updates sourced from the secondary.
So, effectivity there is a routing table update both ways.
Rs,
Solomon

Hey Anthony,
RIP doesn't "peer" it just sends out routes. Regarding primary/secondary you
need to be careful. By default RIP sources things from the primary IP address.
If RIP receives updates from a network other than what is configured, it will
reject them by default. You can get around this with the "no
validate-update-source" RIP command.
