Mike,
Thank you very much for your honesty.  It has been very helpful, at least to 
me, to know that someone else is struggling in almost the exact same ways.  My 
family has sacrificed a lot too, and my employer, and I have continued to take 
tests and fail and then pass.  I'm confused about OEQ too.  I don't have any 
reason to cheat, and I really don't even see any way that a person could do it. 
 I guess I just don't have that kind of mind.  It's discouraging that some have 
ruined it for the whole.  Many times I've asked myself if all this study is 
really worth it.  The respect from my peers and my own self esteem tells me 
that it is, but sometimes I am tempted to just work on easier, lower level 
certs and have more fun in my career.  Unless I hear reasoning and better 
anecdotes about the OEQ, I may do just that.  But I've worked so hard and long 
to just quit on the CCIE RS now.  I guess it's a decision we all have to make 
for ourselves.  Good luck to you in the future.
