How is "NSSA area" connected to "Normal Area" without backbone in
between??

[NSSA Area]-----[Backbone Area]-----[ASBR connected Area]

The scenario should be something like the one given above. In this case
the answer is:

Backbone Area : LSA 1,2,3,4,5
NSSA Area : LSA 1,2,3,7 Plus LSA type 3 default route [for ASBR
reachability]

  All--

  [NSSA Area] ------------[Normal Area]------------[ASBR Redistribute]

Normal Area will get LSA type: 1,2,3,4,5
NSSA Area will get LSA type: 1,2,3,7

my understanding is LSA type 5 will not send to NSSA area.

is there away to get NSSA area to reach ASBR redistribute route
without change NSSA area to Totally NSSA?

  Thanks,

  Nhan
