Hello everyone. I hate to keep the GNS3 etc thread going, but for those
that may be having issues with installing a linux OS and firing up GNS3
may want to consider using a linux Live CD with GNS3 or dynamics already
on the CD. Google the following:

dynaslaxgns3.iso
dynatazgns.iso

dynaslax.iso
dynataz.iso

Also check out http://www.gns3-labs.com/

Back to R&S studies.

Try googling. There are a LOT of blogposts, screenshot tutorials and
videos on this subject. The harder way is using dynagen, which I still
prefer though. And the visual way is GNS3, which is a quite nice GUI
build around Dynagen/Dynamips.

You should have a file called Dynamips Topology or something similar in
your account under My Configs. If you don't, than please contact our

Rick, yeah...I don't have a link to it under My Configs. I sent IPE an
email about an hour ago.

Thanks for the reply.

I must admit that I also liked Dynagen quite a bit during my last
sprint. Since then, I have started using GNS3 more and more, for the
reasons I can't quite explain. I suppose I like the GUI. However, these
days I don't really care. I have created "master topology" and I just
run it when I need it, from Dynagen or GNS3 it doesn't matter.

Awesome right up!! It's a thing I heard a couple days ago that
everything is on the screen. I think that's the reason why they
implemented the 22-24"
screens so rapidly over all the locations :-) I don't know if I'd really
like the non-paper format, but I guess it's something that has to be
dealt with using paper less and less.

The troubleshooting section was not that difficult as Wendel said, but
Cisco always has to deal with too much content when they introduce a new
exam. It will get to a better quantity of content quite fast.

I'm curious for the write-up's of people who took the actual 'live'
exam.
