I totally agree.  On the last project I was on, we consolidated eight
racks of servers into one using Vmware.  Saves space, power, and
hardware costs...super slick.  The blade switch stuff was interesting to
configure.

Virtualization is the future... Everything will be focused around that!
Think about what you could do with a specialized server running
VMware... Router, Switch, Voice, Security all wrapped up into one nice
neat package!! There already in bed with VMware, building there own
servers now, going virtual with a few devices (Nexus Series) to start
working out the bugs... Just speculation but I have seen what you can do
with VM Virtual Center (Not that free crap you download) and its truly
amazing technology!
