Marc, I think you meant to say 'PrR,' not 'PBR,' right? Have you seen this document?
http://www.cisco.com /application/pdf/en/us/guest/netsol/ns483/c649/ccmigration_09186a008094e673.pdf It is a bit of a beast to read through and is extremely non-concise, but I think it is a "must read" for OER (PFR). The configuration guide doesn't really do a good job of pulling all of the pieces together. This document does, but it takes a LONG time to do so. They kind of give you configuration example after configuration example while spoon feeding you information about how the thing works as you go. It wasn't until I was 2/3rds of the way through it before the author happened to throw out that OER can inflict asymmetrical routing in your architecture (this was something that was in my head from the beginning that wasn't addressed until MUCH later). Once you get half way through the document, it will just kind of hit you...like, "Oh...OER is actually a simple concept. Why didn't they just say all of that stuff in the beginning?" Anyway, I hope this helps you out with your studies. Good luck! -Erik On Sat, Dec 12, 2009 at 3:15 AM, Joe Astorino <jastor...@ipexpert.com>wrote: > Yeah man it is brutal...I have not found much else out there but at least > the documentation os uhhh thorough > ------Original Message------ > From: marc abel > Sender: ccie_rs-boun...@onlinestudylist.com > To: CCIE OSL > Subject: [OSL | CCIE_RS] OER and PBR > Sent: Dec 11, 2009 12:13 PM > > Can anyone recommend what to read to learn about these?
