Iperf is an application. It does not run *on* a router (or within GNS3), but is typically used to measure the throughput between two endpoints. Test TCP (ttcp), however, is included (as a hidden feature) on (some) IOS images. See "Using Test TCP (TTCP) to Test Throughput"[0] for more information.
