Hi folks, I have Cisco 6509 and port security enabled. When i connect an IP phone to it and a laptop at the back of the phone then switchport showing two mac addresses, one each in access and voice vlan, make complete sense. But when i remove my laptop from the back of the phone, switch still shows my laptop mac address for about 3 minutes, in these 3 minutes if i connect my laptop to somewhere else on the same switch it shutdown the port with p-secure violation error.
Switchport configuration: Interface gigabitEthernet x/x Switchport access vlan 400 Switchport mode access Switchport voice vlan 200 Switchport port-security Switchport port-security maximum 10 Switchport port-security aging time 2 Switchport port-security aging type inactive Spanning-tree portfast Spanning-tree bpduguard enable I found the following solution of above problem, but those commands set is not working in Cisco 6509 with SUP-32, Switchport port-security maximum 5 vlan voice Switchport port-security maximum 5 vlan access *Is there any way that the mac address of the laptop clears form the mac table as soon as the user remove/disconnect it?* Thanks in advance.
