So you guys do not advise using all those scripts? I nvr do such things with my works or labs, but thinking to start using scripts.

Best thing you can do is de-comfort yourself. Trying to match what is in the lab will only throw you off track when you find your "simulated" setup at home is slightly different. What would you do if some feature you use extensively in your home lab is unavailable during the real lab? The only features you should use are copy and paste because that is all you need. Any built in scripts or connection handlers your favourite program uses may not be available in the lab, even if it is allegedly the same program. I am used to the OSX terminal and the first time I ever used SecureCRT was when I sat my lab.
