I would like to ask some questions about NSSA area types.

Scenario :

- R1 is in area 0 and area 2 nssa

- R2 is in area 2 nssa

- R3 is in area 2 nssa and redistributing routing from EIGRP

Questions :

1. When configured normally, why R1 is also called ASBR? (output
in show ip ospf)

2. When i assign interface R3 to other non-backbone area (eg. area
1), why won't R1 advertised the EIGRP routes to area 0?

3. When P bit in LSA header is set to 0? (bit 0 will not make ABR
translate type 7 to type 5, right?)

Thank you so much in advance

Regards,

Dani A.
