Steve,
It also depends on which one you feel that you enjoy the most. Between the CCNP and CCVP which have you enjoyed the most so far? I would then pick the one you enjoy the most to follow. I always wanted to get into the networking field and used this opportunity to pursue it. I started from the ground up getting my CCENT and CCNA. I recently completed my CCNP by using Cisco Press Books and the Cisco Networking Academy Lab Portfolio Series for the CCNP and built a home lab. Though it was a seven month journey and was difficult and I cannot say how gratifying it was. While the iron was hot J, I have decided to attain my CCVP. I have already passed the QOS exam, thanks to having taken the ONT exam last it help immensely. Will soon be taking the CVOICE Exam. Planning on attending a CCVP boot camp next month and if all goes well attain my CCVP. Please pardon my long story but, I would like to attain the coveted CCIE and would like to know which one should I attempt? My biggest fear is that I lack practical work experience and it might be difficult to attain. Ideally I would like to get a job first and then try but I am not sure that I will be able to even get a job since I lack any work experience. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanking you in advance for your cooperation in this matter. Regards, Steve Peters
