8.7: VLAN 2567 should not allow any RIP packets to go across.
Do not use any commands under "router rip" nor "interface fa0/1" of any router.

Technically, in step 8.6, "passive-interface default" is already used to ensure 
updates are only sent out of necessary interfaces.
Wouldn't it violate the requirement of question 8.7?

Or should I do a "no passive-interface" to partially negate the previous task 
on the router, and then utilize vlan-filter/vlan-map to filter out RIP packets 
on the switch?
