Thanks Nicolas, But you mean normal in that all switches has the value 0xF? I dont want to go to ROMMON mode for now, just wamted to know why its 0xF and not 0x2102 or 0x2142.
0x2102 is the default settings - Cisco recommended for loading the current configuration after reload or power cycle. 0x2102 means that the device ignores the saved configuration and instead boots up using default (blank) configuration. 0xF ??????? Are the 0x2102 & 0x2142 for routers and 0xF for switches? Or how is it? Confused!
