Run a "sho vtp stat" on the server. I'm willing to bet it doesn't look like
the above. As Marko stated, this is expected behavior. The reason is that
this "client" can't talk to the server or vice-versa, since you have no vtp
domain name set (and possibly a password mis-match). Run a "show vtp stat"
on the server and make sure the domains and passwords match ("sho vtp
password" will give you the plain text). It would appear that this "client"
switch has no domain set from your output, which is why it's VTP config
isn't matching up with the server, thus no VTP action.
