Hi Guys, I'm planning a pvst to MST migration in our datacenter network and I need some advice about some specific MST behaviour.
In the configuration guide is mentioned: the complete MST database gets reinitialized for any incremental change, such as the addition of new VLANs to instances. We create VLANs weekly during office hours so we can't use those MST recalculations in our network. My idea is as follows: If we assign all vlans, including not-yet-existing vlans to a MST instance during our pvst - MST migration. Will there be a MST recalculation in the instance when we create a new vlan, when that vlan is already active in a MST instance? Thanks!
