Hello,

At the beginning of Lab 15 in the prerequisites it says:
"Do not add links into a routing process with a "network" command unless
specifically asked to."

I read that and I started thinking I'd be doing a lot of "redistribute
connected", "ip ospf X area X", "neighbor X", etc. I started working on
task 15.2 but couldn't figure out how to get RIP working without using the
network command. RIP doesn't even save your config unless you have a
network command, even if you manually specify your neighbor. I gave up
and looked at the detailed solution guide and it says to use "network
0.0.0.0". I thought this was explicitly not allowed pretty clearly. What
am I missing? I searched the list but didn't find anything particularly
helpful on this specific question.

It's a minor thing, but I'm trying to come up with the right solution
before looking at the detailed solution guide, so stuff like this
frustrates me. Can anyone shed any light on this?

Thanks!

-Chris
