I think it's a good idea for you to know how all of them work, the differences,
and how to configure them. WFQ is so simple my dog could configure it:

Inter s0/0
 Fair-queue

PQ and CQ are old and tedious but they aren't that hard either, everything
begins with either "priority-list" or "queue-list"

And last but not least we have the wonderful world of CBWFQ/LLQ :)

Remember that CCIE karma states that if you don't study something, it will be
on your lab exam!

Cheers!

Subject: [OSL | CCIE_RS] QoS topics

hello all,

I don't have a great understanding of QoS yet and I am wondering about
the congestion management technologies covered on the lab exam. The
blueprint makes no mention of congestion management as a category like
it dose with classification, policing, etc... under the MQC section, it
only lists CBWFQ, MDRR and LLQ.

would it be correct to assume PQ,CQ, WFQ will not be tested on? if not,
is it still necessary to have an understanding of all 3 for a
successful lab attempt?

Thank you,
max
