The right fix is to create a rule on the server that triples the number
of emails to anyone that initiates an email thread requesting to
unsubscribe.
You're smart enough to subscribe
You're (supposedly) smart enough to be studying for a top industry
certification
You should be smart enough to figure out how to unsubscribe
Threads like this are stupid. Sorry. Threads like this "do not provide
benefit to the community as a whole"... Because they are stupid.

Debra - We will look into our OSL mailing list app - if it's a feature and
doable - I don't see a reason why we wouldn't offer both methods. :-)

Hello Marko,
The process your customers are using to request to be removed from the
onlinestudylist creates noise for your other customers. Some of the
emails might be spam. Some of the emails might not be spam. The
intention of the emails is clear.
I'm asking you (without caps) to consider a different way to improve
IPExpert's service for the onlinestudylist.
Thank you,
Debra Taylor

The process we use is NO DIFFERENT than any other mailing list in the
world. There is no secondary step.

Hello Marko and Matt,
I find it interesting that IPExpert requests a secondary step to
remove customers from the onlinestudylist. Isn't there an automated
way to process the Unsubscribe requests prior to being distributed to
the list?
Thank you for your consideration,
Debra

We think OSL provides valuable interaction with other network
engineers and is a valuable resource you can leverage in your studies.
However, if you wish to unsubscribe, please, do so the same way you
subscribed - quietly and without shouting to everyone else you want to
do it - there's no need to lower signal-to-noise ration on an
otherwise very technical forum.
Please take a moment to look at the very bottom of messages sent to
this mailing list (to which you subscribed through a two-step process,
with a confirmation). You will find that the messages contain
information on how to unsubscribe. Here's the link:

Thank you for your understanding.
With kindest regards,
Marko.
