I would actually go a bit further and say that services as a whole aren't as detailed as what you need to be an expert for the lab. That said, unless a vendor comes out with a services based workbook I think you need to rely more on the configuration guide and labbing up your own scenarios. Just mho based on a couple very expensive lunches.
