Chandu, For the Real exam you will have 3560 switches. For your study's, you can get most of it done with 3550's, but you will need 3560 series for the private vlans, IPv6. I would say if you do not have the equipment, use you lab box's type in your answers to the switch questions in notepad, then check your answers later. Once you believe that you are ready to test your full day skills, jump on one of the online lab companies "proctorlabs" is good and test your full lab.
