Here is the scenario, straight from Lab 17 Vol 2, frame relay cloud, hub and spoke, R2 hub, R5 and R6 spokes. Authenticate R2 - R5 ospf with md5 password1 and R2 - R6 with password2. Restrictions, not allowed to use ospf network type broadcast, OSPF updates should be unicast without DR/BDR (use point-to-multipoint non-broadcast) I love how in the DSG it casually says that we have to use the neighbor command and for no apparent reason ipexpert decides to use it on the spokes and not the hub. Try using the command on the hub instead and have fun authenticating your ospf sessions using different keys. I suppose I've learnt something tonight.
