Hey Xavier, everyone says you should have this done in 20 minutes. Here's my two cents - between drawing three diagrams(1 for IGP, 1 for EGP or really BGP and multicast, 1 for layer 1 and 2), writing a task list to keep track of what your doing, all the while reading through the tasks and verifying configs and getting your "bearings straight." I find that difficult to achieve. I strive to have all this done and any layer 2 or task one (subtasks) configured within the first hour. Then I'm really ready to take on more core v4 tasks for the next hour( or less) and just keep moving along after that. My goal is to always be done at least an hour early (or done in 5 hours)
There are a bunch of blog posts on this topic though and I would really listen anything ipx had to say on the subject.
