Hi all, I am trying to implement Jumbo Frames for Backup / Data Domain purposes at the Data Center.
The configuration is straight forward on the Nexus 5548 based on my different research but my CORE is a 6509 running VSS. Please if anyone has implemented Jumbo Frames in such an environment, would like to hear from you and how it has been implemented without error. I dont have a lab environment to simulate this first hence, looking for anyone with previous hands on... Here is the network setup: 6500A ---- 6500B | | | | Nexus 5kA Nexus 5KB - vPC | | | | Many Nexus 2Ks and the Servers are hanging off here.. The Data Domain hangs off the nexus 5548. The question is, how to enable Jumbo Frames on the 6500s - should it be on the interfaces participating in Port-Channel connecting to Nexus 5Ks?
