The only way you can do that without remoting into the switch1 would be to
have the same VLAN (layer2) connect from switch 1 to switch 4. You could
then create a SVI (switched virtual interface - i.e. interface vlan <X>) on
switch4 in the same vlan and ping the IP of the remote PC. Then do a show
arp on switch 4 and you should see the mapping of mac to IP.

Now if you have access to switch 1 - just remote into the switch and issue
"show mac address-table dynamic <interface>". Not sure on the command as
they change from switch to switch but show mac? should get you going. Also
this only works on access ports with 1 device connected. If you have more
than one device connected you will get a number of mac address shown. If you
have more then 1 device then you can do the same procedure as above but only
create the SVI on the original switch.

Hi

Could anyone explain for me how do I exactly find out the MAC address of PC
1 connected to Switch 1 if  I am sitting on Switch 4?

Assume that we  have full connectivity. I only need to find out and know the
MAC address on PC 1 connected to SW1

Thanks
Ahmed
