In the "Lab Equipment and Software v3 --CCIE SECURITY TRACK" document, it does state the following:
Note: The IPS sensor can be configured using CLI and managed through the IPS Device Manager. It doesn't say anything about any other device or management tool. I guess we can read into it to mean if the gui were available on the ASA they would tell us. They could surprise us, but I hope they keep the gui out for the ASA. That will keep us away from portal customization, DAP and CSD.
