Hi Kelly - I am in the same boat as you. I passed the written, and am
studying the old and the new labs. Probably 70% of the old labs are
still useful, just don't worry about the VPN concentrator stuff, with
most of the IPS topics still useful. Then, study the new labs as they
arrive. Also, make sure you study the entire blueprint, starting from
the first topic. I do this by keeping a spreadsheet, with all the
blueprint topics listed, and record the date and the amount of time I
spent studying each objective, until I get all the way through each one
thoroughly - then start again. There is plenty of info on the Cisco
website, and other sites to research each one.

Good Luck

Michael

Hi Kelly,

Most of the v3.0 material is already out. I had to ask my sales person
at IPExpert to add the files to my profile.

Subject: [OSL | CCIE_Security] 3.0 Lab with 2.0 Materials?

All,

This is my first time post and I am thankful to have a group to lean on
while I get started on my journey. I plan on passing the written soon
and have scheduled lab time in a couple weeks.

I guess I am confused on how to begin my lab studies and could use some
guidance. I have the Ipexpert materials and the latest download only has
4 - 3.0 labs to utilize. Would you guys suggest to do 2.0 labs or should
I wait for the 3.0 material to come out? I'd hate to be doing old lab
material that is not geared toward this version of the lab.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be excellent. Thank you
