I just saw that it appears to have returned, but what happened to EasyVPN?

It seems they started to make it available again. However, there are some
topics missing inside the VPN part...

Hi Shawn, and others,

Cisco has renamed all configuration guides. They have also split up the
security guide into four sections:

- securing connectivity (VPN's)
- securing control plane (control plane policing, control plane logging, etc)
- securing the data plane (CBAC, IPS, Zone based firewall, FPM, capture, uRPF,
TIDP, etc)
- securing user services (AAA, Command author, role-based CLI, SSH, kerberos,
etc)

My guess is that the toptics became too big for a single PDF book / too large..
So they split it up into four different sections.
Specifically if you consider that more and more VPN technologies are coming
into production, SSLVPN, anyconnect, GETVPN (v1.2), etc...

The same is done with IP as well..
One of my bookmark is set to:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/ps6441/products_installation_and_configuration_guides_list.html

That gives me the complete list of all 12.4T configuration guides. Of course,
that link is also available from the
www.cisco.com/web/psa/products/index.html link, which is available on the lab
exam

Cisco IOS Security Configuration Guide: Secure Connectivity, Release 12.4T is
the name of the guide. All links are dead. Wonder whats up with that?

Glad you brought it up I thought I was missing something.
I was looking for it as well, a search for "Cisco IOS Security Configuration
Guide:" and "Release 12.4T" and VPN on Cisco.com produces references to the
different parts but they are not valid links right now.

Does anyone know where the 12.4T IOS security configuration guide went (With
the VPN Guide)? It was on the Cisco site last week. Under the Security and VPN
section, there used to be four guide, security configuration, user plane, data
plane, and control plane. But it seems to have disappeared. Thanks
