Ok sorry I should have put it down as :- if they want you to name an interface, acl or sting etc then they will give you the name and you must put it in as they give it to you.
If they are not bothered then it will say something like using an acl Dave From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Tyson Scott Sent: 19 June 2009 17:12 To: 'Simon Baumann'; 'Stuart Hare' Cc: [email protected] Subject: Re: [OSL | CCIE_Security] Question about capotalization. Dave, Not necessarily are they going to tell you. Anytime it says "name it" you should type it exactly as the word is given to you in the sentence whether you are told to match case or not. Ok, thanks. So, I'll follow the given names by choosing them exactely the same. Failing that your config wouldnt work anyway hence lost points. On Fri, Jun 19, 2009 at 4:02 PM, Simon Baumann <[email protected]> wrote: I thought about that too. But I'm faster, especially when I'm working on the balcony with my MacBook (laptop keyboard are a little bite strange). What would it respresent in the lab? Loosing points when I name the zone "outside" instead of "OUTSIDE"? This helps me identify what are system based commands, from what are my chosen names/values. This works for me may not work for you. I ask because I use to write everything in use of small letters, just to have line without wondering "Did I choose upper or lower cases for this e.g. acl?". What would you recommend? TIA.
