For regex, I know "Ctrl+V" works fine for ?. For password, I tried it but it 
still expect the same sequence of "Ctrl+V" .

If you press "ctrl + v" before the ?, you can enter it into the configuration.  
If you use it to authenticate from one device to another, the password prompt 
is unaware of the special meaning of the "?", so it works fine.
