A Single context is never truly active on both in a failover pair.

To run active/active you must have two contexts.

Subject: [OSL | CCIE_Security] Shared Licenses in ASA

Hi All,

I was going through the ASA doc cd and when reading through the failover
and shared license servers,I couldn't understand the below note

"Shared licenses are supported only in single context mode,so Active/Active
failover is not supported"

I am sure missing something basic,I am trying to understand the relationship
between single context mode and active/active failover support.

Thanks for the great help

Regards
Anantha Subramanian Natarajan
