Hi, I'm working on Yusufs Lab 1. Task 1.4 requests that the IPS should be browseable via https://192.168.2.12:8000. So I configured the IPS, changed the IP address of the ACS' internal NIC to 192.168.2.222 and checked that the switchport is configured to access vlan 2. I assume I forgot to add an static route to route the traffic to the IP address of the IPS.
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator>route add 192.168.2.0 mask 255.255.255.0 192.168.2.222 The route addition failed: Either the interface index is wrong or the gateway do es not lie on the same network as the interface. Check the IP Address Table for the machine. Hmm, any hint what to check? TIA.
