Tyson,

I saw the bit on your Storage IE. Will IPexpert be making study material
available for this IE?

Jimmy,

Don't focus on my next comments as it is future and there is no solid date
for this to change for Security. But....

R&S Lab Format

4 Questions for OEQ

10 to 12 questions for troubleshooting

25 to 30 questions for Configuration

So there are actually 3 sections to the R&S test. I expect in the future
all tests will be done using this method.

The troubleshooting and Configuration portions of the lab are done with
different tests. Meaning each part has it's own topology and lab questions.
It is known that the R&S troubleshooting section is done using IOU, which is
kind of like Dynamips, and the topology may consist as many as 40 routers.
I am not sure if IOU supports the Security devices so this may be part of
the hold up for the Security Lab moving to the same R&S format.

Although it is not vital for you to be aware of changes to other blue prints
it is important to be aware of changes Cisco is making to be aware there are
similar steps given to each blueprint so it is nice to be aware of changes
to other blueprints.

i.e. I knew because the three core labs, R&S, Voice, Security, had
implemented OEQ; OEQ's were coming for the other tracks. And I was right on
in thinking this as we saw in the announcement January. Personally I was
glad to get my SP out of the way in a hurry but I didn't finish my Storage
IE in time. O well I get to learn a little more, which is probably a good
thing.

My point is just in saying that my answer is applicable for now but make
sure you guys are keeping up on the latest announcements.

I still believe it to be at least 6 months out before they move to 12.2(50)
Most likely they will when they change the lab to the same format as the
R&S. I believe that is going to happen in the future but there is no
official or even rumored word on it.

Hello,

Begining with 12.2(50), all the dot1x commands have changed. I.e.:

authentication event fail action authorize vlan = dot1x auth-fail vlan

What IOS shall we expect in the Lab? The bluprint says 12.2(44) and above...

Regards,
Javier
